Festival audiences were invited to step inside the vintage big top on Wellington’s waterfront and enter a world of enchantment and intrigue with Circus Ronaldo.
Waitangi Park is Wellington's new park situated between Te Papa museum and the beginning of Oriental Parade bordering the waterfront. The park will turn into the 'Festival Zone' playing host to The National Bank Festival Club for the duration of the 2006 Festival from 24th February to 19th March. The Festival Club will be open from 11am to 2am daily, with activities during the day and ticketed performances most evenings.
Waitangi Park will also be the home of the large scale public photography exhibition, Earth from Above, the Les Arts Sauts tent, an outdoor stage, and other festival features.
