From journalists and scientists to novelists and poets, Writers and Readers Week is your opportunity to see some of the world’s finest writers and thinkers as they deliver stimulating and entertaining literary sessions.

The full Writers and Readers programme launched on 26 January 2012. The programme booklet is widely available at Unity Books, libraries, bookshops and other outlets nationwide. Tickets to the Town Hall Talks, High Tea at the Museum Art Hotel, Young Writers & Readers Day, Schools Day and Art on the Move events are on sale now along with the Bookmark Pass and Take Five Pass – our two great Writers and Readers multi-passes. The remainder of Writers and Readers events will be on sale from 3 February.

Writers and Readers Week is supported by Victoria University of Wellington, Unity Books, Museum Art Hotel, Australian High Commission, Goethe-Institut, Canada Council for the Arts, Embassy of Spain, Instituto Cervantes and the John F Kennedy Memorial Fellowship.
